Viera East encompasses the original development of the Viera master-planned community, featuring 38 distinct neighborhoods built primarily between 1995 and 2012. This side of Viera is characterized by mature oak canopies, established landscaping, and the Viera East Golf Club that winds through the community. Neighborhoods include Parkstone, Canterbury, Brightwood, Addington, Durban Park, Blackheath, Aberdeen, Woodhall, Collingtree, Stratford Place, and Ashton, among others. Homes range from 1,500-square-foot patio homes to 4,500-square-foot custom estates. Because many of these homes are now 15 to 30 years old, Viera East is one of the most active remodeling markets in Brevard County. Homeowners are updating kitchens with builder-original oak cabinets and Formica countertops to modern white shaker cabinetry and quartz surfaces. Bathrooms are being converted from dated garden tubs to walk-in showers with frameless glass. Original tile flooring is giving way to large-format porcelain and luxury vinyl plank. The Viera East Community Association oversees common areas and enforces architectural guidelines across all neighborhoods.
